I am sure coaches are telling you about the importance of rest between sessions especially keeping out of the sun. If your body does feel good then the occasional run or exercise session can give you an advantage.

Missing training sessions is risky this time of year without coach consultation. Remember you may have met some good competitors here and interstate, but when the race starts they care not about you. They are training hard to beat you. You are good enough if determined enough.
